Whether your aim is to update existing knowledge, learn new concepts and/or renew your network, at the IDE Design Master Classes, you learn the latest from those actively working at the forefront of Design. Learn from the experts as well as from other professionals! You can choose to join us in either on-site or on-line classes.
A series of intensive two-day, state-of-the-art on-site Master Classes developed specifically for professionals. In groups of 8 to 16 participants, you gain insights into recent developments in the discipline, learning about the latest methods. A proven and effective way to refine your skills, focus your ambition, simply broaden your mind and be inspired.
Elvin Karana will kick off the 2023 Spring programme in March with the IDE Design Master Class Biodesign. There are three more masterclasses planned until the summer:
- 22-23 March | Biodesign, Designing Everyday Products With Living Materials, by Elvin Karana, Professor of Materials Innovation and Design
- 19-20 April | Creative Facilitation, Creativity and creative collaboration in innovation, by Ir. Katrina Heijne is researcher and lecturer
- 10-11 May | Design for Complexity, Using systems and transition thinking in design, by Mieke van der Bijl-Brouwer, Jotte de Koning
- 14-15 June | Design for Healthcare, Mapping health journeys to create meaningful and sustainable solutions for healthcare, by Armagan Albayrak, researcher and Marijke Melles, associate professor of Teamwork Design
